Memories of Fable and Many, Many Pages

Today I was working with App Inventor just like I was yesterday. Since I get to come in early now that my little sister is attending the GUTS program, I get about an extra hour to work on my program. I'm really grateful for that extra hour. It makes my life a lot easier because I get more time to work on my app, and there are a lot of complicated parts of my app. Mostly it's the amount of pages that I have to make. Nine genres of video games and four platforms for each, plus four different games for each genre, and three different versions of the games that need to be listed. I'm not a math genius, but I know that the final total of pages I need for that comes out to be: a lot.

There was a Caesar cipher on our survey today. I LOVE CIPHERS AND DECRYPTIONS!! I have to stare at the poly-alphabetic once for a bit to puzzle over the key word code. Of course, once you test out the word code as the shift parameter for the message, everything is very simple. BUT, since the shift is backwards and not forwards, that tripped me up on the first message. I was like, THIS ISN'T WORKING. But when I tried backwards, it was easy. And I really enjoyed figuring out the key word code. I needed to decide if it started over once it hit the second word, but a translation and continuation of the key word made more sense. Ah, I really want to come to the Murder Mystery thing tonight! I'm going to try asking my family about it again.

When I was looking at all these video games, I found various different games that I hadn't seen in a while, like Fable. I remember my friend playing it a while ago. She shot a tough boss while he was monologuing and killed him. Fable takes free-range RPG to a whole new level. I wish I could play it, but I don't own it! I'll have to buy it.

Anyway, that's it for today. Bye!
